POSITION: Customer Service Associate

Job Description

UJEFF Delivery Services Limited is a dynamic player in the logistics and delivery sector. We connect customers with the goods they need quickly and reliably. To maintain our high standards, we are seeking a dedicated and proactive Customer Service Associate to join our vibrant team. This role is the heart of our operation, ensuring every customer and driver interaction is positive and efficient.

In this position, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our customers and delivery drivers. Your main goal is to provide outstanding support through various channels, including our app, phone, and live chat. You will resolve issues promptly, ensure smooth order processing, and play a direct role in boosting customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day activities will be diverse and impactful, focusing on several core areas:

Delivering Stellar Customer Support: You will expertly answer customer inquiries about orders, delivery status, payments, and ongoing promotions. Additionally, you will handle complaints regarding missing items, delivery delays, or order cancellations with patience and empathy.
Solving Problems Efficiently: A key part of your role involves resolving issues quickly. You will process refunds, coordinate replacements, and make necessary adjustments. For more complex cases, you will escalate matters to supervisors or the logistics team while ensuring the customer feels heard and valued.
Supporting Our Delivery Team: You will also provide crucial support to our drivers, assisting them with app functionality, pickup changes, and drop-off instructions. Furthermore, you will coordinate with the logistics team to facilitate seamless last-mile deliveries.
Managing Systems and Data: You will monitor our app’s performance and promptly report any technical glitches. Maintaining accurate customer records and updating order statuses in real-time is also essential.
Contributing to Improvement: You will help track key performance metrics like response time and resolution rates. Your frontline insights will provide valuable feedback to help us continuously improve our processes and overall customer experience.
Upholding Security Standards: You will handle sensitive customer and payment data with the utmost care, ensuring full compliance with data protection regulations and company policies.

Your Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you will need:

An HND or equivalent diploma in a related field.
A minimum of two years of relevant work experience in a customer-facing role.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction at all levels.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to making informed decisions.
The capacity to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
Familiarity with smartphones and app-based platforms; prior experience with a delivery app is a significant advantage.
