POSITION: Coordinator, Administration
The Cure Blindness Project is seeking a Coordinator, Administration to join our country office. Why the Cure Blindness Project?
For more than 43 million people, blindness remains a daily reality. Another 295 million suffer from moderate to severe vision impairment. However, there is hope: 80% of this burden is treatable or preventable. A simple 10 minute cataract surgery could cure 17 million blind people. For over 30 years, the Cure Blindness Project has worked alongside partners in more than 30 countries to develop high quality, cost effective eye care systems in underserved areas. We have provided more than 1.6 million sight restoring surgeries, screened over 16.5 million people, trained more than 20,100 eye health professionals, and established 5 eye hospitals. Your Mission
You will perform various administrative tasks to support the Cure Blindness country office in Ghana. Your role includes scheduling, documentation, office operations, recruitment support, logistics coordination, data entry, and reporting. This position suits recent graduates or individuals looking to gain administrative experience, as no prior experience is required. Your organizational abilities and attention to detail will directly impact our ability to deliver sight restoring programs efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Your role spans office operations, scheduling, HR support, program logistics, procurement, data management, and reporting. Here is what you will tackle:
Office Operations & Scheduling
- You will assist with day to day office operations, ensuring smooth workflow and a productive environment.
- Coordinating and scheduling meetings, appointments, and events keeps our team aligned and on track.
- Preparing, formatting, and distributing internal and external communications and documents maintains professional standards.
HR & Records Management
- You will support HR with recruitment and onboarding processes, helping new team members join our mission.
- Maintaining organized filing systems and ensuring accurate, up to date records protects institutional knowledge.
Program Logistics
- You will assist in planning and scheduling outreach programs, trainings, and workshops that deliver eye care to underserved communities.
- Tracking program calendars and ensuring timely execution of activities keeps our commitments on schedule.
- Supporting logistical arrangements for trainings and outreaches, including venue, accommodation, transportation, and materials, makes events run smoothly.
Procurement & Inventory
- You will assist in procurement processes and inventory tracking of program supplies and equipment, ensuring resources are available when needed.
Data & Reporting
- You will support data entry, cleaning, and validation for program activities, maintaining accurate information for decision making.
- Assisting in preparing routine reports including weekly, monthly, and donor updates keeps stakeholders informed.

Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in administration, management, or a related discipline.
