New Job Opportunity at EduSpots Ghana

POSITION: Head of Education

EduSpots is seeking a Head of Education to join our leadership team. If you have significant experience in Ghanaian basic education, at least five years in education management, and a passion for community led change, this role offers the opportunity to shape a model with global relevance while working remotely from anywhere in Ghana.

Why EduSpots?

EduSpots is an innovative, dynamic, and community oriented UK and Ghanaian registered charity. We connect, train, and equip grassroots voluntary educators, named Catalysts, to drive community led change through education spaces called Spots. Our vision: a world where communities unite to create the futures they want to see through education. Since 2016, we have supported 50 communities in creating and running community led education spaces. Our Ghana based team creates collaborative learning opportunities through three leadership programmes delivered increasingly via the EduSpots app. Consequently, we reach over 10,000 learners annually across early years education, digital literacy, STEM, environmental education, and gender equity.

We have more than doubled our income, programme breadth, and reach in the last two years. We recently won the Tes International Award and became a finalist for the Their World Scale Up Innovation Prize. Our Founder was a finalist in the $1 million Global Teacher Prize. This is an exciting time to join us as we aim to double our network reach, bringing an additional 50 Spots into the network.
