Selection Process

As a crucial part of the Asian Bond Markets Initiative (ABMI) of the Asian Development Bank and the cooperation of the ASEAN+3 nations, the Credit Guarantee and Investment Facility (CGIF), a trust fund of the ADB, was established by the governments of the ten ASEAN nations and China, Japan, and Korea (ASEAN+3).
By creating robust and liquid local currency and regional bond markets, CGIF aims to advance economic growth, strengthen financial markets, and guard against disruptions of the global financial system. The primary goal of CGIF is to increase the number of local currency corporate bond issuances in the ASEAN+3 nations by providing credit improvement.
