 2023 DAAD-TUM Asia Scholarships (Singapore)

Do you want a scholarship to go to school in Singapore? The German Academic Exchange Service helps fund the TUM Asia-DAAD Scholarship Program at the Technical University of Munich in Asia (DAAD). The scholarship project is part of the “German Study Programs Abroad” program.

International applicants for postgraduate studies at TUM Asia in Singapore are eligible for the prize program. Students are only eligible for the award while they are enrolled in classes, not before enrollment.

The scholarship program’s background

In Singapore, the Technical University of Munich (TUM) Asia was established in 2002 as part of the Global Schoolhouse Initiative of the Singaporean government. It is a research and educational institution located in Singapore.

Eligibility

• All nationalities are eligible.

Eligible Courses or Subjects:

• Tridib Banerjee will receive the grant (MSc in Aerospace Engineering)

The following requirements must be met by all candidates in order for them to be considered:

• German citizens are not eligible for financial aid.
• Candidates must be submitting an application to the Technical University of Munich (TUM) Asia for a Master of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering.

To be eligible for the TUM Asia-DAAD Scholarships, submit an online application for a master’s degree at TUM Asia.

Supporting Records

All of the following documents must be submitted by applicants:

• One certified or provisional copy of the bachelor’s degree certificate
• One official or provisional transcript of academic work
• The descriptions of each module you’ve taken are listed in your transcript.
• Two letters of recommendation from two distinct professors or employers
• Describe your interest in the program you apply for in your statement of purpose.
• One resume or curriculum vitae
• One photo the size of a passport
• One photocopy of the passport bio page (the Passport page that contains your personal particulars)
• Certificate from the Akademische Prufstelle (APS)
• Personal Motivation Letter
• English proficiency certification

Scholarship Advantages

There are just a few DAAD Scholarships available.

• While studying with TUM Asia, the awardee will receive a monthly living allowance in addition to partial financial support for their tuition.
• The grant will be given to the chosen recipients for one semester (6 months).
• Every semester of study, a fresh application for the scholarship may be made depending on their academic standing.

Entry requirements:

When accepting the offer of admission and matriculating into the program, all applicants must provide two more certified-true copies of their official or provisional bachelor’s degree certificate, official or provisional academic transcript, and two additional passport-sized pictures.

Language requisite.

IELTS or TOEFL (Required for applicants whose native tongue or medium of instruction from previous studies is not in English)
