Rosa Luxemburg Foundation Aims to …

Also, it records key historical occurrences and accomplishments from the entire political Left with the aid of the Historical Centre for Democratic Socialism. Its Scholarship Department provides financial awards and other forms of support to young scholars from Germany and other countries. The Rosa Luxemburg Foundation, like other political foundations, aims to further and broaden the idea of political education by focusing on a critical examination of society as our primary goal, which is further emphasized by our name.

The foundation works to develop alternative concepts and approaches for a comprehensive process of social transformation enabling the creation of a more cohesive and just society. This effort is based on the firm belief that social change requires a reflective confrontation with today’s capitalist society as a whole. Therefore, the foundation’s primary objectives are education and training in democratic socialist politics, as well as analysis, information, and policy recommendations, which we pursue and carry out at the regional, national, and international levels.
