At least 15 people are reported dead in an accident on the Takoradi-Elmina road in the Western region on Tuesday.
The fatal accident occurred when a haulage Truck with quarry stones collided with a Ford Passenger vehicle Tuesday afternoon. According to eyewitnesses, the Ford collided with the truck after the truck attempted a wrong overtaking.
The truck reportedly fell on the Ford vehicle and the two caught fire killing all 15 passengers on board the Ford truck.
An eyewitness added that the driver of the haulage truck and the passengers have been burnt beyond recognition.
Emergency service workers including the Police are currently at the scene.
Victims are being conveyed to the hospital.
