Job Duties
- Design and develop Workday integrations using EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, and PECI.
- Build inbound and outbound integrations between Workday and enterprise systems such as payroll, benefits, IT provisioning, finance, and analytics platforms.
- Develop XSLT transformations within Workday Studio to support structured and maintainable data mappings.
- Implement integrations using Workday REST and SOAP APIs where required.
- Design and implement error handling, retry mechanisms, and notification frameworks for integration reliability.
- Configure and maintain integration system users, ISSGs, and Workday security models.
- Develop calculated fields, custom reports, and report-as-a-service integrations.
- Support Workday business process configuration and integration-related routing logic.
- Participate in tenant refresh planning and integration regression testing across environments.
- Collaborate with HR, payroll, IT, finance, and business stakeholders to define integration requirements and solutions.
- Maintain detailed technical documentation including architecture diagrams, runbooks, and design specifications.
- Support production incident troubleshooting and implement long-term corrective fixes.
- Participate in Workday release planning and ensure compatibility with platform updates.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Five or more years of Workday integration development experience.
- Strong expertise in Workday Studio, EIB, and Core Connectors.
- Hands-on experience with Workday REST and SOAP APIs.
- Strong XSLT development experience within Workday Studio.
- Strong understanding of Workday data models and tenant configuration.
- Experience with Workday security concepts including ISU/ISSG setup.
