Job Duties
- Design and develop Workday integrations using EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, and PECI.
- Build inbound and outbound integrations between Workday and enterprise systems such as payroll, benefits, finance, IT provisioning, and analytics platforms.
- Develop and maintain XSLT transformations within Workday Studio to ensure efficient and maintainable data mappings.
- Implement REST and SOAP API-based integrations for Workday and external systems.
- Design and implement error handling, retry mechanisms, and monitoring strategies for integration reliability.
- Configure integration system users, security groups, and Workday tenant-level integration settings.
- Develop and maintain calculated fields, custom reports, and report-as-a-service integrations.
- Support Workday business process configuration and integration-related condition rules.
- Participate in tenant refresh cycles and regression testing to ensure integration stability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical integration designs.
- Maintain detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, runbooks, and operational procedures.
- Support production incidents and implement permanent fixes for integration issues.
- Participate in Workday release reviews and ensure compatibility with new platform features.
- Stay updated with Workday integration tools, APIs, and platform enhancements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Five or more years of Workday integration development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with EIB, Workday Studio, and Core Connectors.
- Proficiency in XSLT and Workday Studio orchestration.
- Experience with Workday REST and SOAP APIs.
- Strong understanding of Workday data structures and tenant configuration.
- Knowledge of Workday security model including ISU and ISSG configurations.
- Experience with calculated fields and custom reporting.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
