Weather warning in Ghana today 24th April 2022
Ghana’s marine space will be quite unstable today. We will experience strong wind and heavy rains today.
The Southern of Ghana will experience the effects of the heavy rainfall. In view of this, Rain, thunder, and windy conditions are expected later this morning over the Volta. Also, it will drift to the Eastern, Greater Accra, Ashanti, Central, and Western regions in the afternoon.
A rainfall observed today 24th April 2022, at 11 am at the Southern East borders of the country. Subsequently, it will propagate Westward. Hence, it will affect the following places in the middle and coastal sectors with rains and thundery activities:
- Initially, Nkwanta, Hohoe, Keta, Ada (between 12 pm and 3 pm)
- Secondly, Akim Oda, Koforidua, Accra, Tema (between 1 pm and 3 pm)
- And Lastly, Kumasi, Obuasi, Tarkwa, Cape Coast, Axim (between 2 pm to 5 pm)
