JUST IN: GES releases another batch of successful applicants in degree recruitment
The Management of the Ghana Education Service is pleased to announce to all applicants and the general public that the recruitment portal has been successfully restored following recent technical issues.
On 3rd September 2024, the Management of Ghana Education Service announced the invitation for applications from qualified individuals for teaching positions. A total of 38,748 applications were submitted. From this total, 11,665 applicants fulfilled the minimum requirements as stated in the advertisement. Management is therefore seeking to recruit qualified applicants in groups to fill essential teaching positions.
Once a batch is completed, qualified applicants will receive a text message and can then proceed to the platform to print their appointment letters.

About Ghana Education Service
NRCD 247 established the Ghana Education Service (GES) in 1974 as part of Ghana’s Public Service. NRCD 252, 357, and SMCD 63 altered it. Parliament’s Acts 506 (1994) and 778 (2008) changed these laws under Ghana’s fourth Republican Constitution. The fifteen-member GES Council runs the GES.

Mandate of the GES
GES is in charge of implementing approved national pre-tertiary educational policies and programs to ensure that all Ghanaian children of school-age, regardless of tribe, gender, disability, religious or political affiliation, receive an inclusive and equitable quality formal education.
