The University of Reading’s Henley Business School is at the forefront of innovative studies on a number of topics in finance, management, accounting, real estate, accounting, and business informatics.
We provide PhD programs in accounting and financial management, management (with a focus on international business and strategy), informatics and systems science, real estate and planning, leadership, and organizations and behavior. You will have access to committed supervision, remarkable facilities, and top-notch assistance throughout your time studying with us.

The research proposal is a crucial part of every application. We advise you to make sure your proposed research is within the scope of our academic staff’s knowledge in your field. There are three- (Ph.D.) and four-year studentship scholarships available (Master’s and Ph.D.). A Master’s degree is not required to apply for a SeNSS studentship.
Funding Information
- Fees for instruction, a UKRI stipend, and access to financing for education, travel, fieldwork, and international visits begin in October 2023
- Depending on the study and the qualifications/experience of the researcher, 4-year awards are available.
- Accepting applications from people without a master’s degree
- Full- or part-time availability.

The University of Reading will pay the difference between domestic and international tuition prices in addition to the ESRC SeNSS grant, which pays tuition fees at the domestic rate. Candidates who want to take classes part-time are eligible for all rewards. It is urged that candidates without a Master’s degree and members of underrepresented groups apply.
