University Of Dundee Steve Weston And Trust Scholarships (fully funded)

International students are welcome to apply for fully funded Steve Weston and Trust Scholarships at the University of Dundee starting in September 2023. The scholarship allows students to enroll in Postgraduate-level courses at the University of Dundee that are taught in the field of energy, petroleum, and mineral law and policy. The scholarship must be applied for by May 31, 2023.

Benefits of the scholarship

Three prizes are available: one from the Trust Scholarships program and two from the Steve Weston Scholarship fund. The prizes will present each nominee with:

• Payment of academic tuition fees (2023–24 fees to be finalized)
• A single student will get a stipend of £1,050 per month for 12 months to cover living expenses.
• A 750-pound arrival allowance and a 580-pound reimbursement for thesis or internship reports

Eligibility Requirements

Candidates who wish to be considered for this scholarship must:

• Already possess an Honours degree at the second class upper level or higher in Law, Economics, Geology, Petroleum, or Mining Engineering. Additionally, candidates from various academic backgrounds who can articulate their reasons for pursuing the pertinent LLM and list any relevant legal professional experience will be given consideration.
• Hold an offer for an LLM in International Oil and Gas Law and Policy or International Mineral Law and Policy for September 2023.
• Have proof that you meet the English entry criteria for the University of Dundee.
• Demonstrate your capacity for thought and leadership.
• Possess a track record of success and the ability to advance to influential positions.
• Preferably be licensed attorneys with some post-graduate professional experience in the government, corporate sector, or academia in the development of energy or natural resources.
• Continue on to finish the degree within a year. At the conclusion of the study period, international students are required to return to their home country.

2023 KHALIFA UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS (UAE)

Application Process:

Following an unconditional offer for the LLM in Mineral Law and Policy/LLM in International Oil and Gas Law programs, candidates must submit a Personal Statement and updated CV via email attachment in order to be considered for the Steve Weston Scholarship.

The personal statement needs to demonstrate your capacity for leadership, communication, networking, academic potential, integrity, and extracurricular activities.

The selection process is fiercely tough, and the chosen individuals will represent the UK as world-class ambassadors. By the end of June 2023, the rewards will be decided and rejected applicants won’t be notified or given comments.
