In Singapore, applications are being accepted for the Singapore International Graduate Award 2022. All international students with a strong interest in research should apply for a fully-funded scholarship in Singapore. This is an international PhD graduate fellowship. The selected foreign graduates will study at some of the world’s greatest institutions under the guidance of eminent and well-known professors. You will study at A*STAR Research Institutes, NTU, NUS, or SUTD, with all instruction conducted in English. Good
In your selected lab, A* STAR Research Institutes, NTU, NUS, SUTD, or SMU will provide PhD instruction in English. Students will be assigned to these laboratories and will be supervised by competent and internationally recognized researchers. Students will receive a PhD degree from NTU, NUS, SUTD, or SMU if they complete the program successfully.

Scholarship Benefits
The Singapore International Graduate Award is a fully funded, free scholarship that will cover the costs of pursuing a doctorate degree in Singapore:
- Tuition costs in total
- One-time flight grant of up to S$1,500* One-time settling-in payment of S$1,000* Monthly stipend of S$2,000, which will be enhanced to $2,500 after passing the Qualifying Examination.
Research Areas
Research areas under the PhD (Doctoral) Program fall broadly under two categories:
- Biomedical Sciences and
- Physical Science and Engineering.
Documents Required
Prepare all of the necessary documentation ahead of time. Your papers will be required at the time of application. Please do not mail your documents to the SINGA office in physical copy. With your SINGA application, you must upload all of your documentation online.

Eligibility Criteria
All overseas graduates with a love for research and strong academic performance are eligible to apply.
Good written and spoken English abilities; good academic reference reports
The qualifying criteria listed above are not all-inclusive.

All transcripts must be translated into English.
- Academic transcripts (Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degrees).
- If your bachelor’s degree certificate/scroll has not yet been bestowed, a letter of certification from the university on your candidature is required.
- 2 reports with recommendations (to be completed and submitted online by the referees)
