POSITION: Commis Chef
Position Summary
We are a global catering firm engaged in diverse activities within the catering sector, and we are seeking a COMMIS CHEF.
Position Overview
- Answering to Chef de Partie.
- Manufacturing food products as per established specifications/recipes.
- Responsibilities encompass, but are not restricted to, the following:
- Generate and formulate innovative dishes.
- Prepares and cooks meals according to established specifications/recipes.
- Guarantees compliance with HACCP and local safety standards in alignment with Gategroup’s policies and procedures.
- Accountable for maintaining safe and tidy work areas and tools at all times.
- Cooking dishes according to the exact requirements of the client.
- Stay informed about the latest in cuisine and ingredients.
- Consistently guarantee food safety.
- Any additional responsibilities designated by your supervisor. Minimum
Required Skills or Experience
Qualifications
- Certification as a Chef by profession OR GG Internal Certification after at least 3 years of experience in all areas of a Gate Gourmet hot kitchen as a Kitchen Worker.
- Culinary arts apprenticeship or associate degree, formal education in culinary arts, or a similar field is necessary.
- Preferred experience in high-volume kitchen production.
