SECURITY OFFICERS Needed At KNUST (OBUASI) Campus

KNUST is seeking to recruit Security Officers for its Obuasi Campus

Terms of Appointment

• The appointment is an entry Junior Staff status and on a full-time basis
• The salary and fringe benefits attached to the post are attractive
• Applicants should be residents of Obuasi Township

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform Guard Point or Post duties
• Perform human and vehicular traffic management duties
• Perform foot and mobile patrol duties
• Keep records of security incidents
• Collaborate with workings local security agencies under the supervision
• Perform any other security duties and related activities on campus

Qualifications Required & Experience

• Applicants must have an SSCE or WASSCE certificate with Pass in English and Core Maths
• Earlier experience as a security officer or grant will be an average
• Should not be more than 35 years by December 2022
• Should not have any criminal record
• Must be medically fit for the position
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word

Knowledge & Skills Requirement

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Duty conscious and dedicated to duties
