Applications for the 2023 HarborOne ONECommunity scholarship program are now being accepted by both domestic and international students.

Scholarship Details:

In the past 16 years, HarborOne has awarded more than $700,000 in college scholarships, and we are sincerely committed to continuing this work to support talented kids in the area.

The HarborOne ONECommunity Scholarship recognizes and rewards dedication to both academic performance and community service.

2024 FULL MCCALL MACBAIN SCHOLARSHIPS AT MCGILL UNIVERSITY-CANADA

Scholarship advantages:

• HarborOne Bank will provide $2,500 to forty undergraduate students so they can study in the UK.

Qualification Standards:

• senior in high school is required.
• a 3.0 GPA is required as a minimum.
• Decide if you’ll enroll in a 2- or 4-year accredited college or institution.
• By the March 15 application deadline, at least one member of the immediate family* must have a HarborOne personal deposit** account that is open and operational. (*Immediate family includes parents, stepparents, legal guardians, siblings, or applicants. **Personal deposit account includes: checking, savings, CD, money market, and IRA. Immediate relatives, which include children, grandkids, stepchildren, stepgrandchildren, and brothers, are ineligible among HarborOne staff members and the board of directors.

Submitting an Application:

Before completing the online application, we advise you to:

• Please carefully read all instructions and pay special attention to the relevant links before applying or returning to a saved application.
• Ask your guidance counselor to upload a copy of your official transcript.
• Please be careful to submit your senior year grades for the first term. Make sure the uploaded transcript can be read by checking it twice. Please, no JPGs. Scanned Word documents or PDFs are preferred.

Recommendations

Although not needed, recommendations are strongly encouraged. Decide which educator, such as a teacher or guidance counselor, will write a letter of recommendation that can be posted.

There is an opportunity for your teacher or guidance counselor to submit the recommendation letter on your behalf if your school has a “blind recommendation policy.” If you would want to email your instructor or guidance counselor, please use the “Recommender” link on the application.

Their ability to upload a letter of recommendation in secret to your application will be made possible by email.

Put your First & Last Name and ONECommunity Scholarship Application in the email’s subject line.

If possible, give the recommender enough time to upload your recommendation.

Ask them to upload by March 11th with a March 15th deadline.

Once posted, the suggestion will appear in your application’s attachments area.

You must view the suggestion in the attachments before submitting the application for it to be included in your application.

A recommendation letter can also be simply uploaded.
