G-PAK Limited is seeking to recruit a Sales Manager.
Job Purpose
To provide technical and administrative direction in sales for the achievement of the mandate of the company
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensures the implementation of policies and programmes of the Unit
- Ensures the establishment and maintenance of a comprehensive database on Marketing and related matters
- Ensures marketing and sales targets are achieved
- Ensures the effective implementation of marketing and sales programmes
- Ensures the promotion growth in targeted markets
- Ensures the conduct of market research for current and future products
- Ensures the preparation and submission of annual and other periodic reports
Qualification Required & Experience
- A master’s degree from an accredited tertiary institution in Marketing Management or any related field
- A minimum of 8 years post bachelor’s degree relevant work experience, 5 years of which must be in a senior management position in a reputable institution
- Working knowledge of the print industry would be a distinct advantage.
Competencies
- Excellent leadership, networking, monitoring and management skills
- Excellent communication interpersonal and presentation skills
- Excellent negotiating, lobbying and resource mobilisation skills
- Extensive knowledge in print technology and related matters
- Proficiency in relevant computer applications
