Retail Relationship Officer at Affinity Ghana
Affinity Ghana is seeking to recruit a Retail Relationship Officer. As the Retail Relationship Officer, it is your job to give our mass market customers digitally-forward financial solutions. In this job, you’ll be in charge of managing retail customers’ expectations, finding new business opportunities, and keeping track of daily customer transactions in order to meet the asset and liability goals that have been set for you.
You will grow and keep a portfolio of customers by playing a proactive, mobile, and value-adding financial role. You will make sure that a full range of customized and relevant financial solutions and services are offered to meet the customers’ growth needs and potential.
Key duties:
- Keep and maintain a healthy pipeline of potential retail mass market (unregistered businesses and personal) customers to whom products and solutions are offered based on their needs.
- Then, Responsible for bringing customers on board through medium know your customer (MKYC) and helping them move up to enhanced know your customer (EKYC)
- Help potential customers sign up on their own through the app or sign them up through the agency app.
- Also, Customers should be taught how to use USSD and other digital platforms to do business. If you need to, get cash from businesses that aren’t registered. As soon as possible, this cash should be turned into digital money (like putting it in an Affinity mobile money wallet) or given to customers who may need cash.
- Moreover, Join sales and activation campaigns to get customers started. Manage a portfolio of personal customers and unregistered businesses by getting to know their needs and giving them digital solutions that meet those needs.
- Develop and keep good relationships with all customers, based on understanding the customer’s industry and having empathy for them.
- Delivers individual goals and helps achieve Hub/Branch and company-wide goals.
- Collect information from customers who want to borrow and send it to the branch that will handle the loan.
- Tell the hub supervisor or branch sales manager what your competitors are doing.
- Lastly, Make sure that all KYC documents and requirements are correct, sufficient, and up to date.

- Digitally savvy and interested in how technology can help solve money problems
Education and Training
- Minimum of an HND or the equivalent from any second cycle institution
- 1 year of sales experience, preferably from a bank or other financial institution in the same field.
