Your Mission

As Influencer Lead, you will define the strategic direction for influencer services across West and Central Africa. You will establish scalable frameworks, set industry leading standards, and act as the region’s authority on influencer strategy. Leading multi market initiatives, advising senior clients, and supporting new business efforts will fall within your purview. Additionally, you will build a strong centre of excellence by developing Influencer Managers and Senior Influencer Managers. This is a high impact role focused on practice growth, consistency, and commercial performance.

Strategy & Frameworks

You will set the regional influencer marketing strategy and positioning for Publicis West Africa. Your vision will guide our approach.
Defining scalable frameworks, playbooks, and best practices for influencer work ensures consistency and quality across all markets.

Client Leadership & New Business

Acting as senior advisor to clients on influencer strategy, approach, and measurement builds trust and drives results.
Leading multi market influencer proposals, pitches, and go to market initiatives positions us for growth.
Representing the influencer practice in new business, senior client meetings, and industry forums amplifies our expertise.

Cross Market Integration

Ensuring alignment of influencer work across English, French, and Portuguese speaking markets requires cultural awareness and coordination.
Guiding integration of influencer marketing with paid, earned, shared, and owned channels creates cohesive campaigns.

Commercial & Operational Leadership

Partnering with leadership on commercial models, pricing, and resourcing approaches drives profitability and sustainability.
Building and leading a centre of excellence while mentoring Influencer Managers and Senior Influencer Managers develops the next generation of talent.

Innovation & Measurement

Championing innovation, data, and emerging technologies within influencer marketing keeps us ahead of industry trends.

What You Bring to the Role

We are looking for a candidate with deep experience, strategic acumen, and leadership capabilities. Here is what you need:

Six or more years of experience in influencer, social, or digital marketing roles.
Proven experience building or scaling influencer programmes across multiple markets.
Strong strategic planning and commercial acumen backed by measurable results.
Deep understanding of influencer ecosystems, platforms, and measurement frameworks.
Confident senior client leadership and presentation skills that command attention.
Ability to lead within a matrixed, multi market organization.
Fluency in English is essential; French and Portuguese proficiency gives you a strong advantage.
A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
