Pharmaceutical Company is looking for a suitable, dynamic, achievement oriented-person for the position of HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources Management with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position/ highly matrixed organisation, working with persons of varied backgrounds and senior/ executive management.
  • Relevant professional certification in CIPD, PHRI, SPHRI, CIHRM etc.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Provide leadership for the full scope of all HR functions (Workforce planning, organisational change management etc.)
  • Direct HR business plan and align with business goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement HR policies to support strategic objectives.
  • Keep abreast of HR development within industry nationally and globally and proactively align company HR policies, procedures and practices.
  • Adopt a clear succession plan for all aspects of the business.
  • Adopt an enterprise resource planning system (ERP) to enhance
    company productivity.
  • Lead the implementation of HR projects within the HR department and across the business.
  • Partner with HR Centres of Excellence to lead activities and initiatives associated with change management.
  • Provide HR partner support to all business units and functions Provide guidance and advice on all aspects of people management to Senior Management.
  • Provide coaching and counselling to business leaders and managers to effectively meet business goals.
  • Design and implement talent acquisition initiatives to attract and retain the best talent to support the growth of the business.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of modern trends and developments in Human Resource Management – nationally and globally.
  • Excellent working knowledge of the Labour Laws of Ghana.
  • Abreast with current trends in Learning and Development
  • Knowledge of the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry and work environment.
  • Knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and other HR software and tools.
  • Ability to develop relevant HR policies, and procedures.
  • Strong ability to analyse, manipulate and interpret data.
  • Strong process and project management skills
  • High-risk awareness and ability to manage/mitigate risk
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Expert coaching and counselling skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Oral, written and presentation skills
  • Planning and organisational skills
