NSS to continue payment of allowances despite COVID-19 leave

The Ghana National Service Scheme under the leadership of Mr. Mustapha Ussif, the Executive Director has issued a notice to all national service personnel across Ghana to disregard a media publication purported to have emanated from the outfit of the Scheme canceling payment of personal allowances in the coronavirus era.

The Scheme explained that, all service personnel will continue to receive their service allowances in the midst of the coronavirus.

The Scheme has noted that, any information concerning the welfare of service personnel comes from the Secretariat of the Scheme hence, no one should be misled by fake publications.

They added that, every issue about personnel is either put on the Scheme’s Official Letterhead or Social Media handles such as;
1. Facebook: Ghana National Service Scheme
2. Twitter: @nssghana
3. Website: NSS.GOV.GH

Personnel are advised to verify or authenticate information from  the Call Centre, Official Social Media Handles, Website, District Offices or NASPA Representatives.

The Scheme reiterates that, it does not communicate through middlemen or any other unofficial medium.
