NPP Youth Conference: Ashanti Reg. Youth Organiser in trouble as commanders threaten action
The New Patriotic Party’s National Youth Conference held in Tamale over the weekend was one of a hell for the Patriotic Youth from the Ashanti Region. Their Leader, Dennis Kwakwa, acting Regional Youth Organizer, is said to have caused this trauma.
Although the Youth were poised to be re-equiped with a strategy for a victory in 2020, the poor organisation by the acting Ashanti Regional Youth Organizer was one that demeaned their spirit.
An interview granted by newsnowgh with a concerned Youth Organizer (name withheld) revealed serious cracks supposedly being spearheaded by Team Kwakwa.
“My brother, it was intentional. We went to Tamale with three Metro Mass Buses. The acting Regional Youth Organizer intentionally gave flashy treatment to Team Kwakwa, his favorites. Rode them in a fully fledged AC Marcopolo Bus and slept in a high class hotel. Mind you.. Team Kwakwa constitute campaign team members during his unsuccessful bid to become the substantive regional youth organizer.”
“Just imagine, Commanders had to perch at the Pastoral Centre where Patriotic Youth from Brong Ahafo were booked. Most of us had to rent hotels as high as 300 Ghana cedis.”

another commander also revealed that after the rally their busses were no where to be found. Commanders had no option than to organize their own busses at a cost of GHC60 per head.
Upon returning from the conference, newsnowgh.com has gathered from a reliable source that said acting regional youth organizer has denied all constituency youth organizers from making any further complaint on their official whatsapp platform. By settings, only him, being the administrator, can make a post unto the platform.
Checks made by newsnowgh indicate that the acting Ashanti Regional Youth Organizer once contested to be elected as the substantive Youth Organizer.
In essence, he sees most of the constituency Youth organizers and the youth at large that campaigned against him as his detractors.
The NPP Youth in the Ashanti Region are calling on the National executives to immediately call him to order. His actions therein is to give them some unfair treatment.
According to them, they will come out to stage a demonstration against the acting Youth Organizer if nothing is done.
