USA University Awarding $42,000 Scholarship

Norwich Undergraduate Awards

Norwich has several categories of awards:

  • Academic
  • Service and Leadership
  • Visit
  • Activity-based

Although students are eligible to win awards in several categories, they are only eligible to win one prize in any one category. A student who receives more than one award from a single category will be given the one for which they are best qualified (for instance, they cannot receive both a Junior ROTC Leadership Award and a Civil Air Patrol Award). If a kid qualifies for both, they will receive CAP because it is worth more. Based on determined financial need, Norwich awards financial help to cover a portion of the cost of chargeable expenses. All of the rewards included in these categories lower the overall cost of your Norwich education. Awards from Norwich cannot be transferred to another institution.

Any further rewards from Norwich University or its affiliates are not available to students receiving tuition assistance from those organizations.

Institutional aid may be changed due to verification, a change in the expected family contribution (EFC), a change in the billable charges, the availability of federal, state, and institutional funds, a change in the tuition and room and board charges levied by the university, satisfactory academic progress, registration status, a change in lifestyle or major, eligibility for tuition exchange or remission, or the receipt of aid from other organizations or the government. When a student is permitted to reside off campus, room and board are not charged; instead, financial aid, including scholarship grants, are adjusted in accordance with the updated fees.

Each year, these honors are evaluated.

Educational Awards

Academic awards are first calculated based on the recipient’s prior academic performance and might fluctuate in value depending on the granting policy for which the student is eligible.

Academic scholarships are specified at the time of acceptance and are based on the total expenditures of on-campus living for the specified year. Price adjustments based on increased tuition, housing and board costs, or changes in the mode of instruction (from on-campus to online) may alter the value of prizes or disqualify recipients.

Deadline: Fall applicants will be given preference.

During the admissions process, the cumulative grade point average is used to determine eligibility for certain rewards. The prizes for students who are applying straight out of high school will be determined by their GPA (GPA). Awards for first-year college students who transfer for the spring semester will also be computed using their high school grade point average. Scholarships awarded to college students who transfer after their first year’s spring semester will be determined by their cumulative grade point average.
