The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Customer Engineer to join our field service team. This hands-on role focuses on installing, maintaining, and servicing critical electromechanical equipment, primarily ATMs and self-checkout systems, within a designated geographic territory. This position is ideal for a technical professional who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and ensuring optimal equipment uptime for our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Engineer, you will be the frontline expert ensuring our systems operate flawlessly. Your primary duties will include:

First, you will perform scheduled and emergency customer installation, maintenance, and service calls efficiently and professionally.
You will service, troubleshoot, and repair a range of electromechanical equipment, including automated teller machines (ATMs) and self-checkout systems.
A core aspect of the role involves conducting thorough maintenance, repairs and complete system overhauls as required.
Furthermore, you will manage necessary warehouse activities, which include dismantling decommissioned machines and testing component parts.
You will also maintain accurate service records, manage your parts inventory, and adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures.
Additionally, you will provide excellent on-site customer service, clearly communicating technical information and resolving issues promptly.

Required Skills & Profile

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical aptitude and a customer-focused approach:

Proven experience in field service engineering, preferably with ATMs, self-service kiosks, or similar financial/retail hardware.
Strong electromechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
The ability to work independently, manage a territory, and respond to service calls with a sense of urgency.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate reporting and inventory management.
Outstanding customer service and communication abilities.
A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are essential for territory travel.
Physical capability to lift and move equipment as needed.
