Job Title: Sourcing Analyst – Oilfield Services
Our Sourcing Team provides support for oilfield services product line. We are in contact with local and international suppliers to collaborate, innovate and ensure part availability for our production and customers.
We manage the buying process and engage in commercial sourcing management to achieve the best contractual conditions. Partner with the best. As a Sourcing Specialist, you will negotiate with dedicated providers according to specific policies
You will ensure to achieve the best contractual conditions while also ensuring internal customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
As a Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Firstly, Defining and improving Sourcing strategies at business or plant level. May also include management of regional and local suppliers.
- Secondly, Elaborating on proposals for improvement in approaches, methods, procedures and processes in the own field.
- Thirdly, Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination of services rendered.
- Moreover, Contributing project as a team member. Work goals typically take 1-3 month to complete and results are seen immediately or within 1-2 months
- Additionally, Being responsible for the Procurement and Sourcing for Ghana and Ivory Coast
- Being responsible for all supplier cost control initiatives and compliance in these two countries
Requirement
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
- Have at least 3 years’ experience in Sourcing
- Demonstrate solid experience in Sourcing and procurement environment
- Be able to demonstrate good oral and written communication skills
- Be a team player with excellent interpersonal, negotiation and leadership skills
- Able to demonstrate the ability to analyze and resolve problems
