POSITION: Head of Facilities, Ghana

What You Will Accomplish
- Essential asset upkeep: Establishing optimal procedures for the team to monitor and preserve critical movable and immovable assets, guaranteeing proper utilization, maintenance, repairs, and spare parts across six distinct sites.
- Driving Workplace Safety: You will guarantee that all facilities comply with local and organizational safety regulations by overseeing the creation and implementation of thorough safety protocols. You will frequently assess safety performance and apply corrective measures when necessary to ensure a safe work environment.
- Leading Functional Development: You will develop and nurture a talented, resource-efficient facilities team by implementing training, skill enhancement programs, and ongoing professional growth.
- Managing Documentation and Reporting: You supervise facility-related records and documentation, guaranteeing that all required communications, reports, and action items are handled correctly and in a timely manner.
- Stakeholder Collaboration and Involvement: You will enable effective coordination and dialogue among cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and upper management.
What You Will Contribute
- Education: Preferred degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience: At least 5 years of expertise in facilities management or a related area, ideally within a manufacturing facility, commercial property, or public utility.
- Expertise: High skill level in operations of facilities, maintenance, and asset oversight, energy efficiency, construction, and permitting processes.
- Leadership: Outstanding leadership abilities with a talent for efficiently managing remote teams, guaranteeing high performance while promoting a culture of responsibility and ongoing enhancement.
- Communication: Exceptional written and spoken communication abilities with a demonstrated capacity to engage and impact stakeholders at various levels, both virtually and face-to-face.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis, thermodynamics, capacity planning, and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Must be permitted to work in Ghana
