POSITION: Maintenance & Integrity Planner

Tullow presents a thrilling chance within the Operations Team. The role is for a Maintenance & Integrity Planner, a Full-Time Permanent position located in Accra, Ghana, with hybrid work options.

Job Objective

Create detailed Work Order Job Plans that facilitate maintenance and integrity operations on the FPSO, guaranteeing all tasks are organized and carried out safely, effectively, and in complete adherence to company standards and legal requirements. This position guarantees the effective utilization of systems, processes, and resources with a dedicated emphasis on operational safety and compliance with regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities

Create comprehensive job plans in the CMMS that guarantee safe and effective completion of all maintenance tasks. This includes determining the extent of work to be finished, specifying the method of completion, the sequence of tasks to be executed, and confirming that all essential resources – such as materials, trades/crafts, labour hours, tools, and permits – are clearly outlined in the Job Plan.

  • Create uniform job plans for recurring maintenance activities.
  • Verify adherence to the TGL Management of Change (MOC) procedure.
  • Revises the CMMS Job Plans to integrate required changes or enhancements and ensure that you record efficiencies correctly.
  • Track the performance of planned maintenance delivery against the schedule. Comprehend the cause of any discrepancies, ensuring that you document lessons learned and integrate enhancements to avoid recurrence.
  • Examine and assess feedback data on finalized Work Orders for thoroughness and the precision of the Job Plan’s actuals regarding Crafts used, labour hours, and resources.
  • Guarantees that materials for the Work Order are accessible and organized before the scheduled maintenance execution. Conveys priorities for material delivery to Supply Chain, Expeditors, and Logistics.
  • Adheres to the Tullow HSEQ Code of Conduct, Standards, and Procedures to consistently safeguard individuals and the environment.
  • Has an obligation to ensure that all staff operate in a way that does not jeopardize their safety and well-being or the safety and well-being of others.

Skills & Background

  • A bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Engineering, Planning, or a related field.
  • Over 7 years of offshore Oil and Gas experience in a relevant technical maintenance position, with a significant amount of time spent working directly with tools.
  • Over 3 years of experience in offshore Oil and Gas planning and scheduling.
  • Proven experience as a supervisor or team leader.
  • Preferably possess experience in operations and maintenance tasks related to FPSO tankers.
  • Sufficient expertise and abilities to pinpoint the necessary tasks, properly assess labour hours, and recognize all material needs to finish a job.
  • Comprehensive understanding and expertise in maintenance procedures and appropriate utilization of the work order system, as well as planning and scheduling within the CMMS software.
  • Possess a strong understanding of the oil and gas production process as well as the plant facilities and machinery, guaranteeing their safe operation and upkeep.

Abilities

  • Utilized experience in organizing and timing using Primavera software and integrating it with the Maximo maintenance management system.
  • Understanding of Safety and Operations Management System requirements
  • Capacity to handle strict deadlines and maintain operational consistency.
  • Capacity to function within a cooperative team setting.
  • An effective communicator at every level of an organization.
  • Organizer, aim setter, service-focused, and motivated.
