Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange Program (USA) – Fully Funded

The eagerly awaited time has come: applications are now being accepted for the YES Program’s 2024–25 session, which will accept Pakistani students. Under the exchange program, students can enroll in undergraduate courses at US universities.

Scholarship Overview

An educational program called the YES Program is intended for high school pupils in Pakistan. All high school students in Pakistan are welcome to apply. To be eligible for the US Exchange Program 2024, applicants must currently be enrolled in the ninth or tenth grade.

Funding from the US Department of State’s Office of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) makes this esteemed exchange program to the USA feasible. The initiative provides high school students with fully paid scholarships that let them stay in the country for a full year. A fully paid year-long exchange experience in the United States is offered via the Kennedy-Lugar exchange program.

The United States Department of State’s Office of Educational and Cultural Affairs provides funding for the Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study (YES) Program. It makes it possible for high school students to live with American host families and attend American high schools in 39 other countries, including Pakistan. A group of organizations under the direction of the American Councils organizes the YES Program.

Everything is paid for by this fully financed exchange program to the USA, including university fees and travel and lodging costs. Therefore, students just need to meet the qualifying requirements and take a chance, without letting financial concerns stop them from applying.

A fully financed international exchange program, the Kennedy Lugar Youth Exchange and Study Program enables young people from all over the world to participate in creative thinking, education, cross-cultural dialogue, personal development, and sharing.

Enrolling in a full academic year of high school in the US, participants in the program take lessons, work in laboratories, and engage in extracurricular activities with their American counterparts. Along with these particular enrichment activities, YES members participate in community service, a civic education program, young leadership development, and other initiatives designed to give them a thorough grasp of American culture through engagement with different facets of American society.

In a similar vein, the participating students represent their home nations as cultural ambassadors in their American host towns, turning into invaluable resources for Americans interested in learning about the many cultures of the students’ home countries.
