JOB TITLE: SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR
Job Purpose:
To ensure the institute’s intranets and computer systems are secured and maintained effectively
Key Responsibilities
- Firstly, Manage network servers and technology tools Install and configure software and hardware
- Secondly, Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
- Thirdly, Install new or rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings. directories, storage, etc. In accordance with standards and operational requirements.
Qualifications, Experience and Competencies
- To begin with, The ideal Candidate should possess A minimum of BSc/BA in Information Technology. Computer Science or a related discipline: professional certification (eg. Microsoft
- Then, Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) is an added advantage.
- Also, Must have 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience relevant to the role Knowledge of web programming (ASP/HTML)
- Lastly, Knowledge of different operating systems (Microsoft, Unix, Linux, etc.)
