ROLE: Customer Service Executive/ Sales Assistant
The Customer Service Officer must speak with customers directly, either by phone, online, or in person. To manage product and service inquiries, the successful candidate must gather and evaluate all essential information.
Role Requirements
- Answer phone calls more professionally and give them information about products and services as needed.
- Take care of and handle client complaints.
- Prepare customer cards and include pricing and delivery information.
- Keep track of customer contacts and transactions; keep track of customer complaints, queries, and comments.
- When necessary, provide administrative assistance to other members of the customer care team.
- Follow up with clients and their complaints; ensure that customer requests are handled appropriately.
- Establish and monitor the company’s customer service standards using a recognized and comprehensive benchmark.
- Determine which tasks are crucial to maintaining customer satisfaction levels.
- Ensure maximum productivity while minimizing expenditures
Required Qualifications or Experience
- A first degree or HND in Management Studies or any other related area, plus at least two years of experience in a similar job following mandatory national service.
- Effective communication skills are required, as is the ability to be personable.
- Problem-solving abilities are required to resolve client complaints and other issues that may emerge from time to time.
- Possession of interpersonal skills allows for amicable interactions with people from various backgrounds.
- Ability to listen and focus on details
- The service executive must be able to think rapidly to provide answers to consumer concerns.
- Possess a good and clear speaking voice, as well as fluency in English. Be open-minded and enthusiastic about success.
- Have a good understanding of how to operate a computer system and its fundamental applications.
- Flexibility and the capacity to perform numerous activities efficiently at the same time are required.
- Ability to perform under pressure while meeting deadlines without making mistakes
- Have good telephone manners.
- Mondays through Fridays (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) and Saturdays (8 a.m. to Noon)
