POSITION: Security/Facility Coordinator
Position Summary
- Mary Mother of Good Counsel Catholic Church, Airport West, Accra, is looking to hire a Security/Facility Coordinator for the church.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities will encompass, but are not restricted to the following:
- Oversight of all security staff assigned by the private security firm.
- Performing security evaluations and inspections for the church and school.
- Guaranteeing adherence to all security guidelines of the church.
- Examine security violations and events, then report to the Security Committee Head.
- Oversee all church personnel in maintaining the cleanliness of the offices and grounds.
- Examine and organize the repairs and upkeep of all tasks, including electrical, plumbing systems, alongside welding and carpentry tasks.
- Should possess expertise in Fire Safety Equipment and assess extinguishers, smoke alarms, and emergency lighting.
- Oversee and organize a timetable for scheduled upkeep of the church, rectory, and its vicinity while suggesting potential solutions.
Required Skills or Experience
Qualifications
- Should possess a solid educational background, ideally a degree or HND from a recognized institution.
- Should possess at least 3 years of experience in the specified job description.
- Should possess technical skills in handling electrical and plumbing issues.
- Should be aged 35 to 50 years.
- Preference will be given to candidates with a security background, such as former military personnel.
- Should be proficient in computer skills.
NB: The chosen applicant must be prepared to work on weekends.
