Japan Motors Trading Company LTD is looking for motivated and skilled Auto Technicians (Heavy Duty Trucks).
Position Overview
The chosen individual will be tasked with diagnosing, fixing, and servicing heavy-duty trucks to guarantee optimal performance and client satisfaction.
The perfect applicant must possess solid technical skills, practical experience in heavy-duty vehicle maintenance, and a dedication to providing excellent service.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify issues, fix and service heavy-duty engines, transmissions, braking systems, and various mechanical parts.
- Carry out regular servicing, preventive upkeep, and safety evaluations.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in vehicles.
- Make certain that all repairs and maintenance are completed according to manufacturer specifications and within designated timeframes.
- Keep precise service logs, work orders, and maintenance records.
- Utilize diagnostic instruments and devices to detect issues and suggest fixes.
- Work together with service advisors and workshop managers to guarantee customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to safety protocols, workshop guidelines, and environmental laws
- Keep informed about the latest repair methods, tools, and technologies for heavy-duty trucks.
- Finish designated training programs
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or a similar discipline
- At least 5 years of practical experience in the repair and maintenance of heavy-duty trucks.
- Solid understanding, verbal communication, and social abilities
- Capacity to perform under stress and adhere to timelines
- Valid driver’s license (preferably for commercial vehicles)
