Job Title: Radiographer
Requirement
- Takes range of radiological services as requested by physicians
- Coordinate the periodic update of inventory needed for the department and coordinate requisition.
- Assists in evaluating clinical history and examination request
- Prepare films for reporting and file diagnostics report and request.
- Processes film as per request for patients and doctors factors,
- Take radiographs while calculating exposure positioning and instructing patients.
- Assist in ensuring the information systems used within the department are kept updated.
- Applies principles of radiation protection to minimize exposure to patients, self and others.
- Health and Safety
- Performs any other duties.
Skills & Experience
- Bsc in Radiography
- Minimum of 3-5 years working experience in the field.
- Must have a license with Allied Health Professions Council.
Technical Knowledge
- Ability to take X-rays and scans
- Possesses knowledge of principles of radiation physics, radiation interaction, and radiation protection. 3.Ability to read basic X-rays.
