Internal Auditor Needed at La Community Bank LTD
La Community Bank LTD, seeks to employ suitably qualified persons for the following position: Internal Auditor
Role Summary
Manage the audit function and ensure efficient systems of control and compliance are in place and working in all sections of the bank
Qualification Required & Experience
- Firstly, A minimum qualification of first degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or similar qualification from a recognised university
- Then, Must be a certified internal auditor or a chartered accountant or in possession of a second degree in auditing / accounting
- Also, A minimum of 7 years auditing experience with at least 5 years in the financial services industry
- Last but not least, Some system audit experience is preferred
- Finally, Proficient in the use of an Accounting software
Knowledge and Skills
- To begin with, Excellent of banking operations
- Secondly, Up-to-date knowledge of the regulatory frameworks both locally and at the international level including ITRS reporting, BASEL 2 and other international standards
- Thirdly, Extensive working knowledge/experience of auditing standards and regulations
- Then, Bank of Ghana regulations and guidelines
- Also, Operations of rural & community banks
- Lastly, Developments and trends in the financial services industry
