Fully Funded King’s College London Africa Studentships 2023/24
Applications for the King’s College London Africa Studentships 2023–2024 are being accepted by qualified African students who are interested in learning how African fashion makers operate.
The Ph.D. studentships will concentrate on collecting fresh information on fashion economies that are pertinent to business and explore concept development on leading companies in the global South. The program’s goal is to assist students in expanding their perspectives beyond Africa’s resource limitations to concentrate on originality, ideas, and innovation.

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must fulfill the following criteria in order to be considered for the King’s College London Africa Studentships:
- Be African-born and have a permanent address in an African nation.
- Be ready to enroll in the King’s College London MPhil/Ph.D. program full-time in the 2023–2024 academic year (the ideal candidate would begin in October 2023 but no later than January 2024).
- Fulfill the academic requirements for admission to King’s College London’s Faculty of Social Science and Policy for the Ph.D. degree.
- In any topic, you should possess or anticipate obtaining a High Merit or Distinction at the Master’s level (or equivalent).
- Among the academic fields that are particularly relevant are international political economy, political economy, fashion management, business, development studies, culture, media & creative industries, policy, sociology, geography, and social sciences.
- A keen intellectual, professional, and personal interest in fashion and the creative economy.
- Strong communication, organization, observation, and teamwork abilities.
- Qualified and quantitative method experience.

Scholarship Advantages
For four years, the following are covered by the studentship:
- Higher international/overseas tuition charges
- An annual stipend (living allowance) at the UKRI rate, which was fixed at £19,688 for 2022–2023.
- The annual expense of research can reach £5,000.
