Job Duties

Perform intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring during spinal, brain, vascular, and orthopaedic surgical procedures.
Operate and manage advanced monitoring equipment to collect and interpret neurological data in real time.
Analyse signals such as SSEPs, MEPs, EEG, and EMG to assess nervous system function accurately.
Communicate critical findings promptly to surgeons to support informed surgical decision-making.
Set up, troubleshoot, and maintain monitoring systems throughout surgical procedures.
Document findings, prepare reports, and maintain accurate patient records consistently.
Collaborate with surgeons, anaesthetists, and healthcare teams to enhance patient outcomes.
Adhere to hospital policies, clinical standards, and regulatory requirements in all procedures.
Participate in training programs, assessments, and continuous professional development activities.

Job Requirements

Minimum one year of intraoperative neuromonitoring experience for specialist roles or eligibility for trainee entry.
Degree in neuroscience, neurophysiology, or a closely related scientific discipline.A
Master’s or Doctorate qualification in a neuroscience-related field is highly desirable.
Strong analytical and technical skills for interpreting complex neurophysiological data.
