The Chinese Government Scholarship-Chinese University Program (Type B) is a full scholarship created by the Ministry of Education to assist Chinese universities in luring exceptional foreign students for graduate study in China. One of the top universities chosen to carry out this program to enroll postgraduate students in Master’s and Ph.D. programs is Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT).

Criteria for Eligibility
Candidates must fulfill the requirements listed below in order to be eligible for the Chinese Government Scholarship Program:
- Applicants must be non-Chinese nationals in good health who will abide by the Beijing Institute of Technology’s rules and regulations as well as Chinese law.

- Candidates for master’s programs must hold a bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in terms of education. Candidates for Ph.D. programs should possess a Master’s degree or academic credentials equivalent to a Master’s degree.
- Candidates for Chinese-taught programs must have an HSK certificate (level 5 minimum); candidates for English-taught programs must have a minimum TOEFL score of 80 or an IELTS band score of 5.5 (English native speakers are excluded from this requirement). Alternatively, you can present additional BIT-accepted language credentials.
- MBA candidates should have a minimum of one year of relevant job or internship experience.
