CEO Pryme reveals plan to invest $10 million in the Ghana music industry
CEO Pryme a Ghanaian music producer based in the US has disclosed that he is ready to inject $10 million dollars into the music industry in Ghana. This he says will make the Ghanaian music industry more appealing to other investors. Also, this is to support the upcoming artist to be creative with the talents they have.
According to him, he has realized that most musicians in Ghana use their own resources to invest in their music careers. This is due to a lack of support from recognized music labels. He says this does not allow the artist to become more creative. He added that his label EZ street records will reduce the burden. This will enable musicians to have a sound mind to produce quality music.
Again he stated that the music industry in Ghana has a lot of potentials but due to a lack of proper management and investors, it goes untapped. “There is a huge potential for music talents out there if only things are done right.”
The government and other capable individuals who can support these creatives fail to do so. Mainly because of the attitudes some creatives put up and also some level of ingratitude on the part of the artist.
