New Brunswick Community College is a public university that offers courses at its six campuses in Moncton, Fredericton, Miramichi, Saint John, St. Andrews, and Woodstock. Each year, the College enrolls more than 10,000 students in its numerous locations. Applications are open for international students to apply for the 2024 fall NBCC scholarships.
About New Brunswick Community College
Famous public college New Brunswick Community College was founded in Canada’s New Brunswick in 1974. The college has campuses in Moncton, Miramichi, Fredericton, Saint John, Saint Andrews, and Woodstock, among others. There are more than 90 distinct programs available to students in a range of in-demand subject areas.
A total of 4,300 students are enrolled at New Brunswick Community College, with 400 at the Fredericton campus, 500 at the Miramichi campus, 1,400 at the Moncton campus, 150 at the St. John campus, and roughly 250 at St. Andrews and Woodstock campuses.
International students from 53 different nations are represented in the NBCC’s varied student body. In a study conducted in 2022, about 89% of graduates said they were happy with their NBCC education.

Language Requirements in English
All international and Permanent Resident applicants to NBCC must therefore show that they have a sufficient command of academic English. Thus, NBCC will ask one of our English language training partners to provide proof of English competence on a recognized linguistic test or successful completion of a recognized route program. A candidate might be exempt if
One of the following conditions must be met:
- the applicant’s first language is English;
- they have successfully completed at least three years of secondary school in English in the past two years;
- or they have successfully completed at least one year of post-secondary school in English in the past two years.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
The deadlines for submitting test scores are July 15 for programs beginning in September, November 15 for programs beginning in January, and March 1 for programs beginning in April. Each academic year, NBCC is pleased to provide three (3) annual intakes. It’s vital to remember that not every intake of campus-specific programs is available.

1 . Pick a Form
Once you have made your decision, take note of the following program details:
- Official program name
- Campus location or Online delivery
- When it is being offered (Fall, Winter, Spring, or Summer)
2. Check the Availability of Program Choice
Seat availability changes quickly throughout the application period. All applicants should check the status of available seats prior to applying. Refer to  Programs Open for Application to see which programs have international seats available. Programs no longer accepting applications will not be available on the list.
3 . Review Program Admission Requirement
- View country-specific details on what documents need to be provided.
- Official High School transcript of marks is required for all Profiles with the exception of Profile F. (Please note that a copy of your high school diploma does not meet requirements).
- Profile F applicants submit an official post-secondary transcript of marks.
- Other required documents may include proof of English Language Proficiency, NECO or WAEC scratch card, proof of successful completion, and Leaving Certificate.
- Once your application is submitted, refer to Step 6 for instructions on submitting required documents demonstrating how you meet, or are in the process of meeting, the program admission requirements.
4 . Tuition, Fees, and Payment
- Be prepared to pay the $100 (non-refundable) Application Fee in order to complete your application.
