Renowned journalists like Afia Pokuaa, and Serwaa Amihere, among others, joined Samson Lardy Anyenini on the Newsfile shows. All of them shared their stories of how they have been manhandled and threatened.

On the show, Afia Pokuaa disclosed how on two occasions she was attacked. Samson Anyenni also shared an interesting story.

According to Samson Anyenni, he received a call from one of the core members of the New Patriotic Party. Samson also disclosed that the said person was a good friend of his. Samson went further to state the said person threatened him. However, he was not perturbed because of his security detail. Even though his family, according to him were very worried.

This is what Samson Lardy said to Afia Pokuah “I got a call from one of the leading members of the New Patriotic Party, who was also a good friend. He threatened me seriously. But because of the security I had even though my family was uncomfortable about it, I was a bit okay with that. We know that it is a risky act when projecting an election but we must find out how we can solve it”.

Serwaa Amihere on the other hand also shared her experience. She stated that the government has been sending people to threaten her. To the extent of trolling her on social media.
