Senior Accountant At Globex Energy
Job Description:
Job description includes but not limited to:
- Manage the fixed asset schedule and reconcile all the ledgers in the Accounting Software.
- Ledger Reconciliation ( AP) to avoid delayed payment that could potentially lead to dissatisfaction of suppliers
- Monitor cash/bank balances for all sister companies to ensure there is adequate funds for daily operations and managing all online banking platforms.
- Ensures adherence to all statutory deduction (PAYE, SSNIT, WHT) and quarterly Self-Assessment filed
- Liaising with external auditors (Including GRA) in engaging year end audit.
- Manage all intercompany payable and receivables and reconciling them.
- Handling company’s accounting and reporting system in accordance with IFRS.
- Maintain thorough financial records for the company including invoices, staff payroll etc
- Supervise and review activities of Finance Officers.
- Review financial data and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports for CEO/MD.
- Prepare additional routine and ad-hoc financial and accounting reports, as and when needed
- Maintain accurate and detailed accounting file records and documents, according to Company policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned by the CEO/MD.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping. (BDC/OMC Experience is an added advantage).
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting
- Must be Chartered (CA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Knowledge of regulatory, contractual, legal, and financial compliance requirements
- Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task and adapt to frequently changing demands
