Job Vacancy for House Mistress
A reputable basic school located near Kwabenya requires the services of: House Mistress
Responsibilities
- Firstly, To assist with the reception of people, information and goods and to ensure that
incoming calls are handled efficiently and effectively. - Secondly, To assist with general administrative and IT tasks.
- Thirdly, To work with colleagues to promote and maintain high standards of support.
- Moreover, To become familiar with, and practise school policies, in particular those relating to Health and Safety, Confidentiality and Child Protection; to be responsible for a safe, healthy environment.
- Additionally, To maintain high personal standards of punctuality and appearance.
- Then, To help to create and promote an image of the school which is in accordance with its aims.
- Also, To be responsible to the Deputy Head (Boarding) for participating in emergency
routines such as fire practices. - Afterwards, To seek the Deputy Head (Boarding)’s authorisation for any anticipated absence from
school; to give as much notice as possible of unavoidable absence through sickness. - Finally, To participate in all aspects of staff development as outlined in the Staff Development
Policy.
Qualification Required & Experience
Candidate should:
- Be between the ages of 30 to 50 years
- Be a professional teacher
- Have at least 2 years experience in a similar role
- Have no criminal record
- Be declared medically fit by a registered medical doctor
