Join our team as a COUNSELLING PSYCHOLOGIST at Village of Hope (& Hope College, an Institution of Village of Hope) as we build our young ones into people of CHARACTER-SCHOLARSHIP-SERVICE-LEADERSHIP
Professional qualifications of the prospective candidate:
- Must be licensed by the Ghana Psychology Council (GPC), and license must be valid for 2022
- Must belong to a recognised, accredited association of practitioners
- Must show evidence of continuing professional dev’t. (CPD)
Academic qualifications of the prospective candidate:
- Must have at least a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology or Guidance and Counselling from an accredited university.
- Then, Having one’s undergraduate degree in psychology or applied psychology will be a plus
Work specifications:
- Firstly, The successful candidate will be responsible for the psychosocial and emotional development/health of both the students and staff of the organisation
- Secondly, He/she will support the academic staff in running assessment and guiding students in course selection and career development counselling
- Thirdly, He/she will engage the school and community through preventive outreach programmes
- Lastly, He/she will be on call during working hours and for emergency situations
Salary and allowance: Based on market premium, and it is attractive and negotiable
Location: Gomoa-Fetteh off Winneba-Accra road.
