POSITION: F&B Supervisor
POSITION OVERVIEW
Make certain that employees collaborate effectively as a team to provide the best service and address guest needs. Examine the grooming and clothing of employees and address any shortcomings. Carry out opening and closing responsibilities such as preparing required supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and spaces, securing doors, etc. Examine storage areas for orderliness, adherence to FIFO, and sanitation. Finish planned inventories and manage stock while ordering required supplies. Observe dining areas for seating options, service quality, safety, and the comfort of patrons. Finish work orders for maintenance fixes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support management in recruiting, training, scheduling, assessing, advising, disciplining, inspiring, and mentoring staff; and act as a role model and initial contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
- Adhere to all organizational and safety protocols; notify management of accidents, injuries, and hazardous work conditions; and fulfill safety training and certification requirements.
- Maintain a tidy and professional appearance, uphold the confidentiality of sensitive information, and safeguard company resources.
- Greet and recognize all visitors in line with company policies, foresee and fulfill guests’ service requirements, support individuals with disabilities, and express sincere gratitude to guests.
- Communicate with others using precise and professional language.
- Foster and sustain constructive relationships with colleagues, assist the team in achieving shared objectives, and attentively address the concerns of fellow employees.
- Guarantee compliance with quality requirements and benchmarks; and recognize, suggest, create, and execute innovative methods to enhance organizational effectiveness, output, quality, safety, and/or cost-reduction.
- and visually confirm details presented in different formats (e.g., fine print). Examine tools, equipment, or machinery visually (e.g., to detect flaws). Remain standing, seated, or walking for a prolonged duration or throughout an entire work shift
- Transport, raise, haul, shove, tug, and position items weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted.
- Hold, rotate, and handle items of different sizes and weights, necessitating precise motor abilities and coordination between hands and eyes. Navigate through small, restricted, or high areas.
- Ascend and descend stairs and/or service ramps.
- Extend your arms up and down to your knees, which involves bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
- Carry out additional reasonable tasks as instructed by Supervisors.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: High school graduation certificate or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Relevant Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a related field.
- Management Experience: A minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role.
