POSITION: DEMAND PLANNER

What are we seeking?
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Demand Planner to become part of our Commercial team. He/she needs to possess strong expertise in demand planning, execution of demand forecasts, and management of materials availability to ensure customer delivery performance, uphold optimal inventory levels, and facilitate effective production scheduling. He/She needs to be proficient in English. We particularly invite youthful and creative individuals to seize this chance to reside and work in Accra-Tema.
Requirements for the Candidate?
The candidate will join our global Commercial Team and primarily focus on coordinating internal teams (operations and commercial) to synchronize material capacity and priorities. They are anticipated to oversee supply chain performance to guarantee that delivery objectives are achieved. Anticipate and tackle possible interruptions in production or material supply and execute corrective actions to uphold service standards and inventory equilibrium.
Duties
Processing Customer Demand:
- Precisely manage and document client requests in the system.
- Inside Engagement
- Fulfill obligations to clients.
- Accelerate orders and address concerns quickly.
- Monitor and Escalate Issues
- Monitor elements influencing delivery efficiency and stock levels.
- Raise urgent matters to the appropriate teams.
Production Scheduling
- Organize, timetable, and authorize manufacturing requests.
- Synchronize plans with accessible resources, capabilities, and client priorities.
Interdisciplinary Cooperation
- Collaborate with Process managers, Operations oversight, and customer Engagement Teams.
- Tackle issues related to raw material deficits, modifications in specifications, and backlog difficulties.
Monitoring & Prediction
- Compile and present regular reports
- Create simulations for production and supply to predict material requirements and enhance inventory levels throughout distribution networks.
- Project demand at the SKU level to inform inventory decisions.
Requirement
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a position such as Demand Planner, Supply Chain Officer, or a comparable role.
- Understanding of demand forecasting, planning techniques, and inventory control concepts.
- Understanding of production scheduling procedures and supply chain management.
- Demonstrated ability to provide precise predictions that align with business goals, new product releases, and marketing campaigns.
- Skill in managing material availability problems and scheduling production.
- Expertise in demand forecasting software and ERP platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Administration or a similar area.
Desirable
- Technical expertise: Proficient in demand planning and forecasting at the SKU level.
- Skill in creating and analyzing comprehensive reports and simulations.
- Capability to project accuracy levels in relation to goals.
