POSITION: Sales Executive

G&J TECHNICAL SERVICES LIMITED is a completely Ghanaian-owned firm founded in March 1994, registered with the Registrar General’s Department of Ghana, and presently functioning in Ghana. Our focus is exclusively on the sale, installation, and, most crucially, the maintenance of Diesel Engine Driven Generating sets.
The firm commenced its activities in a leased 13 feet x 13 feet office/showroom with support from Mr. Ian Dale, the then Chairman of Dale Power Systems in Filey, U.K., who supplied us with the initial funding of GBP 20,000.00 to initiate operations. In February 2001, the firm moved to its custom-designed offices, display area, and workshop. Since that time, we have grown our operations and opened an office in the Ashanti Region to cater to our clients in the Northern areas of the country as well. In 2012, the firm finished and relocated to a $1.2 million cutting-edge workshop facility, where we consistently offer 24/7 service support to our clients in a safe and humane setting that complies with industry regulations.
Job Description
Become part of G&J Technical (est. 1994) — a top-tier Ghanaian power-solutions brand — providing and servicing diesel generators, lighting towers, UPS, and solar. If you’re a committed hunter who enjoys addressing genuine customer issues and safeguarding margins, we need you.
You will: create pipelines, collaborate on solutions with our engineers, secure contracts, and implement long-term service agreements
Duties:
- Establishing sales objectives and creating sales tactics
- Exploring potential clients and creating prospects.
- Reaching out to current and prospective clients via telephone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
- Addressing customer queries, requests, and concerns.
- Drafting and delivering estimates and suggestions.
- Overseeing the sales procedure with particular software applications.
- Creating and sustaining a CRM database.
- Achieving daily, weekly, and monthly sales objectives.
- Attending sales team meetings.
Qualifications:
- High school certificate/GED.
- Over a year of experience in sales.
- Outstanding sales abilities and customer service skills.
- Effective in both speaking and writing.
- Outstanding telephone and presentation abilities.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office, CRM, and sales software applications.
- Strong negotiation and effective problem-solving abilities.
- You possess experience in B2B capital equipment sales (generators/electrical/HVAC/UPS/solar), solid process discipline, and a current driver’s licence.
