POSITION: Auto Mechanic Team Lead
Role Overview
Zonda Tec Ghana Limited, a frontrunner in the assembly, sales, and servicing of commercial vehicles and equipment, is seeking an Auto Mechanic Team Lead for a permanent position.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Managing a group of Auto Mechanics to conduct maintenance, servicing, and assembly of light-duty vehicles, heavy-duty vehicles, and heavy machinery.
- Overseeing and organizing the tasks of the Auto Mechanic team members.
- Examining light-duty and heavy-duty vehicle engines to accurately identify mechanical problems.
- Fixing or substituting damaged or inoperable components of light-duty and heavy-duty vehicles and equipment.
- Utilization of different hand tools and diagnostic devices to evaluate and repair automotive problems.
- Fixing non-functioning automobiles.
- Verifying that newly constructed vehicles are correctly assembled by designated team members.
Necessary Skills or Experience
- HND/Degree in Automotive Engineering.
- 3 years of experience in maintaining and repairing vehicles and machinery.
- Familiarity with the maintenance of light-duty or heavy-duty vehicles and equipment.
- Must be an effective leader and a collaborative team member.
- Should have a strong enthusiasm for vehicles and machinery.
- Should possess the capability to perform under stress with minimal or no oversight.
- Focus on specifics and precision when servicing vehicles.
- Strong communication abilities and the capacity to function efficiently within a team, adhering to directions and partnering with colleagues to reach shared objectives.
- Ability to adjust and be flexible in a rapidly changing environment, managing various tasks and priorities with little oversight.
- Dedication to safety, hygiene, and organization in the workshop, following safety procedures, cleanliness guidelines, and maintenance practices.
