POSITION: Marketing Officer
ABOUT THE POSITION
The Marketing Officer aids the organization’s marketing efforts by working with the team leader to plan, oversee, and organize promotional activities aimed at attracting customers and highlighting the organization’s products against competitors.
CRUCIAL TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create and formulate marketing plans grounded in customer service insights and market data.
- Recognize market business opportunities and collaborate with the Team Leader to implement targeted actions.
- Establish short-term and long-term strategic marketing objectives in collaboration with the Business Unit team and Team leaders.
- Establish essential connections with customers
- Participate in industry events, including association gatherings and conferences, and offer insights and data on market and creative trends.
- Recognize chances for campaigns, services, and distribution methods that will result in higher sales.
- Leverage market and competitor insights to recognize and create the company’s distinct selling points and differentiators.
- Direct and manage the vendor’s marketing initiatives, strategies, and objectives in Ghana.
- Engage with and advise mid and senior management and sales personnel on industry trends aimed at creating new services, products, and distribution methods.
- Assist internal sales personnel and distributors with promotional resources, training, tools, and all sales support to improve their performance.
- Coordinate marketing events and initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
- Successfully aiding in the execution and attainment of the Department’s Management Procedures.
OHSE DUTIES
- Comprehend completely the significance of a strong OHS and EMS culture.
- Encourage ongoing enhancement of OHS and EMS initiatives.
- Lastly, recognize and document risks

- Must comprehend essential concepts and foundations of marketing.
- Should have a strategic and innovative perspective.
- Experience in managing online communities is essential.
- Should possess outstanding communication abilities to comprehend and lead discussions with the intended audience.
- Having analytical skills to reveal hidden thoughts and insights arising from engagements within the community.
- Should have the capability to guide conversations on digital marketing tactics.

CREDENTIALS & BACKGROUND
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a similar field
- At least one year of experience in managing a community.
- Acquainted with social networking sites
