Job Overview:
- We are looking for a skilled and energetic Shop Manager to oversee our team in the Gift, Home & Personal Essentials Shop.
- The ideal applicant will be accountable for boosting sales, overseeing daily operations, and delivering outstanding customer service in a high-energy retail setting.
Main Duties:
Sales and Revenue Expansion:
- Meet sales goals and boost revenue by implementing efficient sales tactics and managing the team effectively.
- Examine sales data, recognize patterns, and execute tactics to enhance sales performance.
Team Management:
- Develop and oversee a top-performing team
- Cultivate a supportive and welcoming workplace, encouraging cooperation and collaboration.
- Then, mentor and train team members to improve their sales and customer service abilities.
Client Support:
- Guarantee that outstanding customer service standards are upheld across the store.
- Address customer complaints and feedback, resolving problems quickly and professionally.
Store Operations:
- Oversee daily store functions, such as opening and closing tasks, inventory management, and visual display arrangements.
- Keep the store environment neat, orderly, and secure.
Store Operations
- Oversee inventory amounts, monitor stock changes, and enhance stock levels to reduce waste and boost sales.
- Work together with the purchasing team to choose and acquire items that fulfill customer requirements and boost sales.
Visual Display Techniques:
- Design attractive in-store displays and window exhibits to engage customers and boost sales.
- Make certain that store displays and promotional items correspond with the brand’s identity and marketing plans
Requirements
Experience: 2–5 years of supervisory experience in retail, ideally within a gift or home goods store or a related setting.
Skills Require:
- Outstanding abilities in leadership and team management.
- Proficient in sales and customer support.
- Capability to assess sales information and execute well-founded choices.
- Fundamental arithmetic abilities and precision in managing cash and using a point-of-sale system.
- Awareness of trends, products, and merchandising methods related to gifts and home goods.
Qualifications:
- A Higher National Diploma or similar qualification is necessary; a degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline is preferred.
